Effective Date: October 2, 2025
Our Core Privacy Promise
Your privacy is simple: We will not sell, rent, trade, or share your personal information with any outside company for their marketing purposes.
The only time your information leaves us is when it's shared with essential service providers who help our website function, or when we are required to do so by a court order or other legal mandate.
This policy details exactly what that means.
1. The Essential Services We Use (And Why)
To run an effective website, we rely on a few trusted, industry-standard tools. Here is a complete list of these services and the specific information they may receive when you use our site.
Google Analytics:
- What it does: Helps us understand which pages on our site are popular and how visitors find us.
- Information it receives: Anonymized data like your IP address, browser type, and which pages you visited. This data is aggregated; it does not personally identify you.
Google Maps:
- What it does: Displays our service area map and helps with address suggestions in our booking form.
- Information it receives: Your browser may share your location data (if you grant permission) and the address you type with Google to make the map work.
Google Firebase:
- What it does: Powers our entire online booking system, including database, phone verification, and security.
- Information it receives: When you book an appointment, your name, phone number, email, address, and vehicle details are sent to and stored on Google's secure Firebase platform. This is necessary to manage your appointment.
Google Fonts:
- What it does: Provides the custom fonts (Lato and Montserrat) that give our site its look.
- Information it receives: Your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, which involves sharing your IP address.
Other than for these four specific, functional purposes, your information stays with us.
2. Information You Directly Provide
When you use our booking form, we collect your Contact Data (name, phone, email), Location Data (service address), and Vehicle Data to perform the service you requested. We only use this information to schedule your repair and communicate with you about your appointment.
3. Legal Compliance and Law Enforcement
As stated in our promise, we will not share your personal information "absent a court order to do so." If we receive a subpoena, warrant, or other valid legal request from a government or law enforcement authority, we are obligated to comply and may disclose the necessary information.
4. Your Privacy Rights
You have control over your information. You have the right to:
- Know what we know: Request a copy of the personal information we have collected about you.
- Correct your information: Request that we update any inaccurate information.
- Delete your information: Request that we delete the personal data we hold on you.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us. For our customers in California, these rights are protected under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).
5. Data Security & Children's Privacy
We take reasonable steps to protect your data, but no online service is 100% secure. Our services are intended for individuals over the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
